Anonymous said...: it could be. possibly. a lot of the times i find that i read into and/or think into things too much. it would be nice to think that an artist would do such a thing to make a statement, but then again, it's probably just coffee house music. trendy something to make cool kids think they're cooler by having that song on their ipods. similar to when that acoustic group covered "boyz in the hood" and then it got all popular for people to cover old gangster rap songs in 'traditional' music forms. either way, it's a great cover, and it made me laugh he first times i saw it. i heard she was doing an entire album of songs like this? no? i don't know.

I heard a famous singer tell a group of people at a clinic to NEVER practice vibrato. She said when you get old, it'll kick in naturally.
